Accuracy – Controls melee hit rate and critical hit chance. Raising this skill raises the amount of damage the player can deal. This base skill is a good focus for any melee class, particularly those that rely on burst damage such as scouts or gladiators.

Attack – This stat controls the amount of physical damage that is done by skills and weapons. Raising this skill will increase the amount of physical damage a player will deal. All melee classes can benefit from extra attack and it should be a focus for melee DPS classes.

Attack (Atk) Speed – This is the speed in which a player will auto attack with their melee weapons. Raising this skill will cause your auto-attack to go off more frequently. This is a secondary skill that probably shouldn't be a focus unless the player has already maxed out more important stats. This skill would be most useful for classes that do a large amount of slow weapon damage, such as those who carry a polearm or two-handed sword.

Block – This determines how often the player will block attacks, completely or partially, from an enemy. Raising this skill will lower the amount of damage taken during battle. This skill works best for primary tank classes.

Critical (Crit) Rate – This is the player’s chance at landing a critical hit. Raising this skill will increase the amount of damage the player does during battle. All classes will benefit from a raise in this skill. DPS melee classes should focus on this skill to soft cap early on to maximize damage potential.

Concentration – This stat controls how likely you are to be interrupted when casting a spell. Raising your Concentration will make you less likely for your spell to stop casting when you take damage during casting. Working on this stat is important for healers who will often be targets but still need to get those spells off.

Evasion – Controls the player’s ability to completely avoid melee damage. Raising this skill will increase the chance of avoiding damage from an enemy melee strike. As a helpful skill for all melee classes, scouts with lower defense who solo, or tanking classes, may want to work on raising this skill.

Magic Accuracy – Controls how often a spell hits the player’s target. Raising this skill will increase the amount of spell damage done by the caster. Another good stat for mages and priests to rely on, this stat should be raised by those classes after they have capped their damage stats.

Magic Boost – This skill determines how much damage a spell will do when it lands on the enemy. Raising this skill will increase the amount of damage dealt by each of the caster’s spells. As another damage stat for priests and mages, it is important that DPS mages raise this skill early on to maximize damage potential.

Parry – This stat determines how much damage the player will take from an attack. Raising this skill will reduce the amount of damage a player takes during melee combat. This stat is useful for all melee classes who take damage, particularly those with lower defense.
